Our precious Abba Father,
When we were in sin and did not know the simplicity of Your love, You came to us as our Savior. When we sought to know more of Your mysterious presence, You came to
us as our Teacher. Now that we know You as our friend
and our salvation, You come to us our Father. Throughout our journey with GAL, You have been all we've ever needed.... from Creator, to Savior, to Physician, and
a loving friend.
We sing hymns of rejoicing and praise, for the protection and love shown to Gal over the past three years. There have been many valleys, heartaches too numerous
to mention; but through it all, Your precious hand has kept us together. Still united and determined to be a catalyst to carry on the gospel of Your Son and His love. Your Spirit has been digging into the inner depths of our souls
imprinting the knowledge we are the advertisement for His life. The enemy is mighty and has came upon Gal like
a flood, but oh hallelujah You have shown us time and
again, satan is defeated by just one precious drop of
the blood of Your Son!
Abba Father You have seen our struggles and fears. You have been so faithful in walking through each valley with us filling us with Your peace which becomes a harbor of rest
for our weary souls. When the undercurrent of storms tried to sweep us out to sea, you met us and pulled us into that peaceful harbor. You came as a balm for our souls and so often when we were floundering You lifted us up and
placed us on the rock! There is no one who can heal the hurts of this life, no one except You. You have the gentle healing touch, to not only wipe away our tears, but to turn our tears to smiles of joy. Hallelujah!!
You gave us a melody to sing of hope and eternal salvation. You are our resting place, our passage way to heaven. Oh How we love you! You whisper to our souls, Emanuel, Emanuel and set our anxious souls at ease. May we show our gratitude by living out the Greatest Story Ever Told in our daily walk with You. Our prayer Abba, is may we always huddle in the security of all that You are. Let us enjoy the journey you have chosen for us, realizing it takes much time and patience to grow into the image of Your Son.
Your fingerprints are on each of us. So many times You have cleansed our eyes so we could see the wonder of Your love. We think of how far we have come from where we
use to be and "how You amaze us!" Over and over you have drawn us close to Your heart, You encourage us to keep our antennae of faith active so when the tidal waves come, they will go around us because we are safe in Your arms.
Abba You are fairer than a sunrise, more beautiful than a starry night. If this is a preview of Your glory we can only imagine how awesome You truly are. Let us remember anyone can offer praise to You on a clear day in the midst of a season of plenty. Anyone can sing a tune in the noonday sun. But You oh Lord want us to sing a song of praise at midnight when trouble is closing in and darkness surrounds us. Oh may we continue to walk in Your glory, our feet marching to eternity's drum, seeking only Your Kingdom and following the fire You have set in our hearts. May we honor Your beauty not only with our lips, but with hearts
that are in love with you.
Oh Abba thank you for giving us another year. May we use each day to praise you.. another chance to tell you how much we love you; another day to shine and show how glorious is Your beauty. Oh precious Abba thank you for making us crowns of Your glory. Oh we pray, help us continue working together to help build the Kingdom of God wherever we are, brother to brother, honoring and loving each other, living daily as Your vessels, willing and eager to answer Your call, gathering no glory for ourselves, but giving You the honor of anything we accomplish. We rest in the beauty of your grace, in complete awe and the wonder of all You are!
